Business Analyst
Job Responsibilities
- Work with product owners, business subject matter experts, and department heads to gather business requirements and translate them into technical or functional requirements.
- Facilitate discussions between business users and developers using tools like wireframes and flow diagrams to accurately capture business functionality requirements.
- Prepare Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers.
- Collaborate closely with development, quality assurance, and design teams to ensure solutions meet and exceed client expectations.
Requirements
- Educational Qualification: BSc. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology from a recognized university/institute.
- Experience: 1-2 years in Business Analysis within a software development environment.
- Certifications: Professional certifications like PMI-PBA or similar are an added advantage.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience in the Insurance domain is a plus.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a team setting; proficiency in written and spoken English.
