Senior Software Quality Engineer
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and create detailed test cases.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including Product Owners, Developers, Scrum Masters, and the QA team, to clarify requirements and communicate any ambiguities.
- Write and execute basic SQL queries and stored procedures in SQL Management Studio.
- Deploy developer code in the QA environment using Jenkins.
- Review developer code changes in Bitbucket to gain a high-level understanding.
- Maintain and execute Test Automation Suite written in Python, including Smoke and Regression Tests.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies like Sprint Planning, Reviews, Daily Scrums, and Retrospectives. Provide status updates, share insights, and conduct product demos.
- Prepare test data using APIs and SQL queries.
Requirements
- Proven experience in writing test cases for complex business requirements.
- Skilled in test estimation for intricate projects.
- Proficient in Test Automation using Python and Robot Framework (Page Object Model).
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Bitbucket.
- Working knowledge of SQL Management Studio for basic SQL queries.
- Familiar with API testing tools, such as POSTMAN.
