Account Assistant
Job Responsibilities
▪ Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoice processing and reconciliations. ▪ Support budget preparation and assist in gathering, analyzing, and reporting financial data. ▪ Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities. ▪ Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks. ▪ Ensure safeguarding of company information and financial assets. ▪ Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements including WHT, APIT, VAT, SSCL, and Stamp Duty. ▪ Prepare and submit periodic financial and management reports. ▪ Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of records. ▪ Support internal and external audits. ▪ Conduct supplier negotiations and evaluate potential suppliers. ▪ Process payments to relevant departments and stakeholders. ▪ Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by senior management.
Requirements
▪ Completed Degree in Finance, Management, or a related field. ▪ Partly or fully qualified in CA or any other professional qualification will be an added advantage. ▪ Up to 1 year of hands-on experience with QuickBooks accounting software. ▪ Experience in tax filing and statutory compliance (VAT, WHT, APIT, SSCL, Stamp Duty). ▪ Strong attention to detail and good time management skills.How to ApplyIf you meet the above requirements and are interested in this opportunity, please email your updated CV along with your expected salary to careers@fintechasiapacific.com.
