Personal Assistant (PA) to Managing Director

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Manage MD’s calendar, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
  • Act as the first point of contact between the MD and internal/external stakeholders
  • Prepare, review, and manage correspondence, reports, presentations, and emails
  • Handle confidential documents and sensitive information with discretion
  • Coordinate board meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action points
  • Assist with strategic tasks, deadlines, and priority tracking
  • Liaise with senior management and departments on behalf of the MD
  • Support HR, finance, or operations-related coordination as assigned
  • Ensure effective office management related to the MD’s office

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Degree or professional qualification in Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience as a PA / Executive Assistant (preferably supporting senior leadership)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Basic understanding of corporate governance or statutory requirements
  • Strong interpersonal, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset
  • Exposure to legal documentation, contract coordination, or corporate compliance processes (added advantage)

Reporting Line

Reports directly to the Managing Director
